Probably Shepard Fairey's Black Market-agency for contemporary guerrila advertisement-campaigns did the video???

Could be actually...Will try to figure that out...

i don't really know the story behind...
but as a good business man..he knows !

ex : For last year Jordan new campaign
on http://www.nike.com/nikebiz/news/pressr ... 1&letter=c

Marking a bold move for the brand, national print advertising was created by Shepard Fairey, known as one of the most prolific street artists of his generation, who has produced memorable graphics -- most notably the Obey Giant images -- that have spread through urban centers all over the world. The animated yet edgy print ads splash bursts of Nuggets-inspired baby blue and gold on images of Anthony and his 1.5 sneaker.

"This campaign effectively speaks to the essence and timelessness of the Jordan brand," said Roman Vega, brand manager for Jordan. "With Tommy (Davidson), we're bringing levity and humor; and by attracting Shepard (Fairey), we're being true to our city roots and commitment to innovation. All of these elements make for a campaign that sets the stage for the future -- and that future is embodied by the legacy of MJ and emergence of Carmelo, who is truly a rising force in the league. By utilizing him, we're able to contemporize the brand in an authentic way."

Haha RRRRRREMIX!

Well...I'm happy for Shepard that he can make a living doing the thing he loves doing.

For the rest I'm just a jealous player-hater with low self-esteem.

Really!

No really!

Well...exchange in what?

Purely in imagery? Visually? Not even...it's not an exchange at all. It's more a one way road to nowhere.
Compare it to music...A lot of mainstream stuff comes from...the past or the 'underground". All types of influences and fields mixed into a easy-digestable sound. And a big-money business.

Ever-greedy advertisement really knows how to look for the way to come up with something "fresh'and new. Some save, touristic rebellious act to identify with...like the naughty boy in the clip putting stickers on people. Bon Jovi fans probably say OOOOH and AAAH. There it is. what's the exchange? You will make different stuff now? You feel enlightened? you feel the Bon Jovi heavy metal-rush going through you blood?

just some thoughts and ideas, nothing personal!  :eleph:

Not so easy to debate with my pour english. But ok I try to.
Bon Jovi is only a boring singer. He use street artist image to make the promotion of his pour album. We can see also skateboarder in the video. Does any skateboarder listen to Bon Jovi ? No ! The situation could be ridiculous. Nice young people stick in the street, practice skateboard. Does the street artists credibility suffer about this video ? I don't think so. Does the skateboarder credibility suffer about this video ? No more. Practice your art in the street is a kind of gift to people. You have to accept to be copy by the advertising. Street artist copy advertising, and not only to criticize it.
Bon Jovi is a wanker, but I don't see any trouble if he use street artist concept to make his promotion.
Fuck ©, please copy me !!!
