Rock Art

Postby Tristan » April 5th, 2004, 10:57 am

An image by Rowdy - part of a movement creating art in disused quarries in the UK. Quarries themselves are vandalism against nature - so to paint there is a partly political act.

Ken Hiratsuka

Postby Tristan » April 6th, 2004, 11:25 am

I was trying to find some stone graffiti from Catalonia for the forum but can't find my pictures. Instead, here is an example from Ken Hiratsuka who took his chisel to the pavements in New York mostly in the 80s. More at his website. http://www.new-york-art.com/hiratsuka.htm
