e: The balcony is like your trade mark. Does your flat has one ?
S: NO

E: Can you tell us, why you chose that Balcony ?
S: THE BALCONY RAPRESENT A DETACHED POINT TO SEE THE tHINGS; FAR AWAY FROM THE SQUARE'S BUSTLE, WHER
eVERYBODY'S REASONS PREVARICATE EACH OTHER.
TO BE ON THE BALCONY PERMIT US TO HAVE A CLEAR VISION OF THE THINGS, ON IT WE CAN HAVE A GOOD PAUSE OF REFLECTION.THERE IS SMOKE GOING OUT THE WINDOW BECAUSE IN THE ROOM SOMETHING IS LIVING....OFTEN I ADD SOME OTHER ELEMENT TO COMUNICATE MY EMOTIONS:CHALIZE GLASS ...PALMAS....TABLE AND CHAIRS...I LET THAT MY INSPIRATION PUT THEM ...MAYBE THEY WILL HAVE MORE IMPORTANCE
LATER ON.

E: Making grafitism is having a particular relationship with urban cities...
What does the city of Milan mean to you ?

S: MILAN IS THE ITALIAN CITY MOST SIMILAR AT THE EUROPEAN CAPITALS TREND....IT IS GOOD TO PAINT....BUT IS REALLY CARELESS OF FRESH CULTURE ...AS WRITER I HAVE TRIED TO "STIMOLATE" PEOPLE DRAWING BODIES THAT CAME OUT FROM SEWED SCARS.
THE IDEA IS SOMETHING THAT THERE IS PARALLEL LIFE IN THE CITY.WITH THESE INTRUSIONS I WANT TO RECALL PEOPLE TO CONSIDER THEIR iNSTINCTIVE SIDE PUTTED IN SILENCE TO LET THAT THE SOCIETY BEHIAVOUR FLAT THEM IN FRONT OF THE ONLY VALUE:THE ECONOMIC ONE.

E: How do you pick your spots ?
S: I LOVE THE OLD SURFACES OF THE STREETS... BRICKS..RUSTED STEELS AND STORES OUT OF ORDER.. BUT I TRY TO PICK SPOTS FOR MY DESIGNS AS I DO FOR TAGS OR THROWUPS...WHERE YOU have TO SEE IT i LOVE THE PHOTO WITH STICKERS OR PAINTINGS AND PARTICULAR BACKGROUNDS (MONUMENTS OR NATURAL ELEMENTS)

E: Have you experienced painting in other cities ?
S: YES,WHEREVER I GO I TRY TO PLACE SOME HIT. IT IS EVER A JOYFUL SENSACTION..STICKER OR PIECE, DESIGN OR ONLY TAGS IT'S LIKE MEETing A NEW GIRl...

E: Are you into spontaneous or planned painting ?
S: I LET THAT THE SPONTANEOUS GIVE A DIFFERENT TASTE TO THE SAME PLAN IN MY MIND,FRUIT OF A LOT OF HOME-SKETCHING

E:Daylight or Nocturnal action ?
S: IT IS FUNNY TO MAKE CRAZY ACTIONS WITH POSTERS AND STICKERS IN THE DAY BUT MY WORKS WITH SPRAY ARE OFTEN MADE ALONE IN THE NIGHT.

E: What non-graffiti-artists do you most admire ? As student-artist, is there any other form of contemporary art that excite you ?
S: AH! YAMAN! ON MY RIGHT YU GOT MY DAWGS YU KNOW? MY MAN gIORGO -AKA "THE METHAFISIC DUDE"- dE cHIRICO ,HE GOT LOTS OF BALCONY SKILLZ TOO..MY BROS ON THE LEFT e.lUDWIGH -AKA"THA MASTER OF ENGRAVING LIGHTS INTO DARKNESS"-kIRCHNER AND ALL THE REST OF THA CREW.....NO JOKES, I LOVE ALL THE PAINTing AND THE ARTIST. The MORE YOU STUDY HISTORY OF ART AND MORE YOUR WORK WILL BE FINE.EVEN IF YOU ARE A WRITER.
I LIKE VERNISSAGE WITH FINE LADYS AND COCKTAIL TOO, BUT I THINK THAT THE ONLY ART GOOD AT OUR TIME IS MADE BY US.
THE CONCEPT OF ILLEGALITY IS SO STRONG. I DON'T BELIeVE IN CONTEMPORArY ART IF IS NOT DONE BY A WRITER.TIME WILL TELL.

E: What about that 'street art' fashion, and about the big company like Levis or Nike trying to work with urban activists ?
S: I THINK THAT WITH A LETTER PIECE YOU CAN MAKE AN UNPERSONAL WORK TO SELL WITHOUT GIVIN THEM ALL OF YOUR STYLE BUT IT WILL BE DIFFERENT IF THEY WANT TO BUY YOUR "symbol".....FOR THE BALCONY I WANT 75% OF THE COMPANY..RIGHT?

>FUCK.IN ITALY IS ALL A FUCKIN SHIT...PERSONALLY I HATE THEM BECAUSE WITH THEIR "GUERRILLA MARKETING" AND THE SKORPIO-STENCIL HAVE CROSSED ME LOTS OF THROWUPS. THEY PAID SOMEONE TO DO THEIR FUCKIN STENCILS ON THE WRITER'S PIECES, TO MIX THEIR SHIT WITH OUR STYLE AND REDUCE TO THE MIN THE EVENTUAL PROBLEMS WITH COPS..i KNOW THAT THE A.D. CHIEF OF THIS CAMPAIGN AGENCY IS A GUY THAT WAS AN OLDSKOOL WRITER FROM BOLOGNA,MEMBER OF A CREW THAT HAVE FOUNDED A"CULTURAL" ASSOCIATION TO PROMOTE WRITING AS FREE WAY OF EXPRESSION FOR THE CHILDREN .SENSE AND CONTROSENSE ALL IN THE NAME OF MONEY.NOW I SAY YOU THE TRUE:I WAS THE INVENTOR OF THE STENCIL WITH THE FEET SMASHING THE sKORPIO. THE ONE THAT HAVE USED THAT IDEA WASN'T A WRITER WITH PIECES CRASHED LIKE ME HE DID IT ONLY FOR "MORALITY".THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKIN BEFORE TO KNOW THAT NOW HE AND OTHERS WILL SELL THEIR WORKS FOR A NEW
NIKE-GRAFFITI CAMPAIGN ,BUILDED UP TO MAKE "peace" WITH WRITERS (WORDS OF THE A.D.'S).I'D LIKE TO SEE WRITERS THAT MAKE MONEY SELLING THEIR CANVAS IN GALLERY..NOT SUCKED BY MAJORS..WHO SAY THAT GRAFFITI CAN'T BE SELLED IN A GALLERY IS ONLY FEARING HIS SHORTAGE.

E: What is the hottest thing in Italy right now - except you - ?
S: IN ITALY THERE ARE SOME ARTIST THAT MIX UP SYMBOL GRAFFITI WITH CLASSIC GRAFFITI AND/OR DESIGN ,PAINTING ,PHOTOGRAPHY AND OTHER FORMS OF EXPRESSION.I THINK THAT WHEN THIS MIX IS MADE WITH CONSCIOUSNESS OF EVERY INFLUENCE AND RESPECT TO THE WORK OF THE ONES THAT HAVE PRATICIZED WITH THAT SHIT BEFORE, THE PRODUCT IS INTERESTING.
I'M HAPPY THAT ITALY IS RAPRESENTED BY 108, PEJO, ABBOMINEVOLE, LUZE.. PEOPLE THAT MAINTAIN HIS PARTICULAR STYLE IN EVERY ACTION STICKER, sPRAYPAINTING, TAGS, POSTERS..THEY ALL KNOW WHAT THEY WANT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT.
WE'RE ALL SO DIFFERENT SO LUCKLY IT'S EARLY TO TALK ABOUT A "NATIONAL STYLE" IN STREET SYMBOLS

E: Do your parents know about all this graffiti work ?
S: YES.THEY SEE GRAFFITI AS A PART OF MY ARTISTIC ATTITUDE AND THEY RESPECT THIS.

E: Could you tell us what was the last mp3 you downloaded on your computer?
S: HORACE ANDY & TAPPA ZUKIE - NATTY DREAD A WEH SHE WANT (1979-12INCH STARS).MP3

E: Cocaine with Jennifer Lopez or Ganja with Buju Banton ?
S: NEVER TOUCHED THAT POISON FLOUR OR ANY OTHER LISERGIC SHIT.
I SURELY SUPPORT THE WEED THAT GIVES YOU PEACE AND MAKES YOU FEEL PART OF THE CREATION.BUT I REALLY GO CRAZY FOR THE FATTIE BOOM GALS LIKE JENNIFER!

E: What are your plans for the future?

HAVE FUN WITH ART AND LET MY HEART WILL BE CLEAN TO aCCOMPLISH MY LIFEMISSION.

tHANKS TO EKO AND V3GA AND A SPECIAL THANKS TO "iL NUOVO DIZIONARIO INGLESE gARZANTI".

"I received a mail from Microbo about Santy interview. She explained that she made the final stencil against Nike with the sneaker smashing the skorpio and that the Nike campaign was international and not run and decided by Nike Italy. Santy replied her that only in Italy, Nike covered pieces & tags with their stencils, and about who was first to design the stencil against Nike, he seems not to agree with Microbo. Anyway, i don't think it is necessary to publish on ekosystem their full explanations." eko
